It took a few days longer than expected but we have all survived the first week of the international ProLeague. I hope our new teams have managed to find their way and have enjoyed their first few games. It didn’t take long for the drama to develop as one of our very first games, PT Classic vs Tsunami Poland, ended in a spectacular 3 - 4 win for the away team.

Two goals by -C-TMaciel (PT Classic) and two goals by El_FiftyPL (Tsunami Poland) were not enough to decide this thriller. It was a late own goal by -C-Neckew (PT Classic) that decided the game.

Another team that has started the season very well is La Familia. They have won their games against All in Energy and V Monstars scoring a respectable seven goals while only conceding two. This leaves them with the best goal difference at the moment and the current top scorer, Marui59, who was responsible for five of their seven goals. This means he has already surpassed last season’s top scorers at this point! Keep an eye out for that lad.

The current title holder MosTalanted FC had a tough time playing against United Tuga even though they took an early lead by scoring in the fourth minute. UT came back only four minutes later through attacking midfielder UT-Silva who scored a penalty kick. UT even managed to take the lead before half time but could not hold on to it as -MT-Marten managed to equalise in the 76th minute ending the game in 2 - 2. MT’s other game was a lot more comfortable. They enjoyed 60% possession and had over a dozen shots against PT Classic. MosTalanted FC won 1 - 0 but might have been disappointed that they didn’t manage to score more goals.

The only team that has no points yet is All in Energy. They had a tough start with La Familia (1 - 4 loss) and Tsunami Poland (1 - 0 loss) as their first games. Sadly their run of tough games isn’t over yet because they will be hosting the champions MosTalented FC next.

The best performing newcomer so far is EuroNation who won their games against Majestic Lions

(1 - 0) and Elemental Gaming (0 - 3). All their goals have been scored by eN-Spring, including a hat-trick. It will be interesting to see if Play Time can neutralize this dangerous striker as they are the next opponents of eN.

The next match days will feature a few interesting games. United Tuga will try to get their first win of the season when they host Majestic Lions in a mid-table clash. Table leaders Tsunami Poland will try to keep their winning streak going against nucleaRoutsidE while FC Levski Sofia, who haven’t conceded a goal yet, will try to keep it that way against Elemental Gaming and Play time.
